Project Scope

Heart of the Bride (www.heartofthebride.org) was established in 1998 as a non-profit organization dedicated to helping provide for the needs of orphans around the world. Their primary mission is to “Share from Our Abundance with Those in Greatest Need”  Through steadfast prayer and partnering with Pastors and Christian Leaders in underprivileged countries, Heart of the Bride has established on-going relationships with local orphan ministries in 6 nations -- Guinea Bissau, Haiti, Kenya, Uganda,  Ukraine, and Zambia.  Through this time many orphanage facilities have been built and lives have been changed.

Heart of the Bride has recently purchased 20 acres of land in Uganda in anticipation of constructing houses, a school and a medical clinic for approximately 120 orphaned children.  The houses will support eight children each and the school and clinic will be used not only by the orphaned children, but also the surrounding community.  The ultimate goal for this site is to care for these orphaned children by providing housing, food, loving guidance, education and medical care in an environment that will lead them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
